Rates and Insurance

Insurance

Services may be covered in part or in full by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage by asking the following questions:

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?
  • Can I get reimbursed if I see an out of network provider?
  • How do I submit my superbill for reimbursement?

Unless you have UPHP (Medicaid), it is your responsibility to make all payments up front. If you would like to bill your insurance, please request a superbill. Any reimbursement you will receive will be paid directly to you from your insurance company. Please note that a diagnosis must be made to submit to insurance. Not all clients meet the criteria for a diagnosis.

You may also use your Health Savings or Flexible Spending Accounts to pay for therapy using pre-tax dollars. We do accept all types of health savings account (HSA) and flexible spending account (FSA) cards with major credit logos on them. If you do not have one of these accounts, you may want to speak with your tax preparer to see if you can deduct therapy expenses from your taxes as an out-of-pocket health expense.
